What does jewelry store SEO actually cost?
Local SEO for a single-location jewelry store generally runs in the low four figures a month in most US metros, with the number driven by how many locations you have, how competitive your metro is and how much of the work is a rebuild rather than maintenance.
What actually moves the price
- Number of locations. Each location is its own profile, its own GeoGrid, its own location page and its own citation set. Two locations is close to double the work, not a small increment.
- Metro competitiveness. Ranking a jeweler in Phoenix or Dallas is a different build from ranking one in a metro of 90,000 people, because the number of competitors with real profiles is different.
- Starting condition. A store with a clean profile, a fast site and 200 good reviews needs far less remediation than one with a wrong primary category, 40 bad citations and a six second site.
- Whether the site gets rebuilt. A rebuild is usually a one time cost inside the first 60 days, and it is often cheaper than fighting a theme for a year.
- Whether ads run alongside. Management is separate from ad spend, and ad spend goes to Google, not to us.
What a very low quote usually means
Under roughly $500 a month, the arithmetic stops working for genuine local SEO. That budget buys automated citation submissions, a monthly rank screenshot and a directory blast. It does not buy category strategy, written neighborhood pages, review systems or a GeoGrid.
The specific tell is the reporting. If the report is a keyword ranking list and not a position map of your trade area, no one is doing the work that moves the Map Pack.
How to judge whether the math works
Start from your average ticket and close rate, not from the fee. If your average sale is $2,400 and you close half the qualified calls you get, then four extra qualified calls a month covers most local SEO budgets outright.
Then look at your current unbranded discovery. If nearly all your Google traffic is people searching your store name, there is a whole market of people who do not know you exist and are searching anyway. That gap is the actual opportunity size, and it is measurable before you spend anything.
What we do
We quote per store after looking at your market, because a number quoted before that is a guess. On the strategy session you get the search volume, the competitor page counts and the work required, and if the numbers do not justify the spend we will say so.
